LITTLE FALLS - Mrs. Concetta M. Francesco, age 93, of Francesco Road, Town of Little Falls, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday morning January 20, 2014. She was born in Melizzano, Italy; Province of Benevento and came to the United States at a young age. Her loving husband, Charles M. Francesco, Sr. passed away in 1989. They were married in Italy. Together Mr. & Mrs. Francesco raised their family and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Little Falls. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish and its Rosary Society. She is survived by her beloved son and daughter in law: Salvatore "Sam" Francesco and wife Kim of Little Falls; grandchildren: Salvatore C. "Sammy" Francesco of Little Falls and Nicole Knapp and her husband John of Fort Plain and a great grandson Brody Knapp. Her grandson Anthony Edward Francesco preceded her in death on August 11, 2013, along with several siblings, along with her father, and her mother, Philomae Mancino. Concetta also has family surviving in Italy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 10 AM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, with Deacon Ron Ste. Marie officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. There are no calling hours per the request of Concetta.
