Little Falls: Lena M. Lamanna, 92, of East John Street, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, February 7, 2014. Lena was born on November 1, 1921 in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Volpe) Lamanna. She was a lifelong Little Falls resident, and graduated from Little Falls High School. She was a long time employee of Salada Foods, also in Little Falls. Lena was a faithful communicant of Holy Family Parish and a member of its Rosary Society. She was very active in her community, and volunteered for the Heart and Cancer Drives. Surviving Lena are her twin sister, Laura Lamanna, and her sister Teresa Moretti, both of Little Falls; a brother, Richard Lamanna of South Bend, IN; nieces and nephews, Mark J. and (Joyce) Moretti of Pittsford, NY, Larry and (Janice) Lamanna of Fairfax, VA, and Valerie Lamanna of Boston, MA; great nephew and niece Jeffrey Moretti of New York, NY, and Anne Moretti of Dallas,TX; and sister-in-law Mary Ann Lamanna of Omaha, NE. Her nephew, David M. Moretti, predeceased her. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls. Her funeral will begin with prayer at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Reverend Terence Healy at 11:00 AM in Holy Family Parish Church, East Main Street. Committal in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer, will immediately follow.
