Gram, you were the best grandmother anyone could ever ask for. You taught me sooo much both when I was a child and when I was older and on my own. You were always there for me when I needed you, and always knew what to say to make me feel special and loved. You always offered me your advice on things, but never pushed your opinions on me. You always stuck by me whether I took your advice or made my own decision, and that's how I always learned from the things in my life. And when I made the wrong decisions and fell flat on my face, you were always there to help me back up again and dust me off.
They simply don't make people like you anymore Gram. You were so mild mannered and kind, yet you had such an amazingly bright and cheerful personality. A room was simply brighter when you walked in, and people just seemed to smile when they saw you. I will never forget all the holidays and parties that wouldn't have been possible without you, your cooking and personal touches were what made those memories so special. Out of all your great qualities I have to say the one I loved the most and the one I try to emulate in my own life is your sense of pure class. Gram you were the classiest person I have ever met or seen. No member of any royal family, or any high dignitary could ever carry themselves in the way you did. Your morals and traditional values that you held true to and modeled your life around were an inspiration and a better example of self discipline, strength, and faith you will never find.
I would not be the person I am today without your influence in my life and now that I am an adult I appreciate that more so now than ever. If I live to be one hundred years old I could never begin to repay you for all you have done for me, and every day of my life I will continue to benefit from you being in it even though you are no longer here. And even though you will no longer be here in body you will forever be with me in heart and in spirit until the wonderful day we meet again. And until then know that I love you with all of my heart and will always remain with me wherever life may take me.
Now, just as it always has been, and always will be I remain your loving Grandson, all my love...
Ken
