Although he never married, he had an abundance of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great niece. He was the biggest kid of all of them and was always happiest when he was around "his" children, or fishing for those "Big ones" at camp on Kesper Lake. Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Nellie; a brother, Louis and (Alma) Trotto; and sisters, Mary and (Wishy) Colangelo, Josephine and (Sam) Zambri, and Louise and (Albert) Guisto.
