ILION: Todd A. Bertrand, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, NY with the love and support of his family. Born in Lutcher, LA on November 10, 1960, Todd is the son of James Bertrand and the late Shirley (Corona) Bertrand. He was a graduate of R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton, TX and was married to the former Colleen Savage on September 23, 2001 in Inlet, NY. Todd was employed at 99 Restaurant in New Hartford. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; his father and step mother, James and Gayle Bertrand; a daughter, Danielle Bertrand of Rome; his step children, Amanda Mroz and husband Kevin of Herkimer, Mathew Pendrak and wife Jennifer of Buffalo; his brothers, Kenneth Bertrand and Christopher Bertrand; his step grandchildren, Lilyana, Ava and Henry Pendrak; special nieces, Lauren, Erica, and Alicia Bertrand and many cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Marlon Bertrand. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY (Town of Frankfort) 315-894-8000. A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM, officiated by Deacon James Bower. The family is being cared for by Harry J. and Kevin E.
