ILION - Doris J. (Fenner) Trevor, age 86, of Mohawk Homestead, formerly of London Towers and Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. She was born on July 29, 1927, in Ilion, the daughter of Carl W. and Alice (Williams) Fenner, and graduated from Proctor High School, Utica. On July 2, 1949, she was married to Robert F. Trevor in Ilion. He died on February 5, 1988. Doris enjoyed her camp in Alexandria Bay and living in Florida during the winter for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting, crafts and cooking. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Scott Gamble, of Elizabeth City, NC; her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joan Trevor, and Richard Trevor and his companion, Cindy, of Hannibal, NY; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held later this spring at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, at a time and date to be announced. There are no calling hours.
