Frederick Joseph Doyle, a lifelong resident of Little Falls, passed away Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014. He received wonderful care from the staff of Little Falls Hospital and his family greatly appreciates that. Fred was born in Little Falls on October 29, 1933. He was the son of John and Annie Geraghty Doyle. He was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy. Fred was last employed by the New York State Lottery at the OTB locations of Little Falls, Herkimer and Utica. He was a member of the Holy Family Parish. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in California. He is survived by his sisters Mary Doyle and Celine Tomaso of Little Falls and Claire Smith of Jordanville, and sister - in - law Dolores Doyle of Little Falls and numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his parents, his brother John Doyle, his nephew Alan Cecconi and his brothers-in-law Charles Tomaso and Gordon Smith. Calling hours will be Friday, June 6 from 4-7 PM at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 7th, 2014 at 9:00 AM at the Enea Family Funeral Home where the rite of transference will be offered. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM at the Holy Family Parish Church, corner of East Main & John Streets, Little Falls, NY, with Rev. Terence Healy, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, (Town of Herkimer).
