FRANKFORT: Sara Jane Testa, 19, a lifelong Frankfort resident, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, June 23, 2014 from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident. Born in New Hartford on January 19, 1995, Sara was the daughter of Michael and Gina (Puleo) Testa. Raised and educated locally, she was a graduate of Frankfort-Schuyler High School/Class of 2013. She continued her education, currently attending Herkimer College in the business administration program and was installed as a member of the Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Sara was a unique person with an outstanding personality and was blessed with an uplifting humor and wit, having a "gift to gab". She was meticulous with her appearance, always having her hair and make-up done to perfection. Sara worked hard and played hard, and with passion, excelled in school and sports. In high school, she participated in softball, volleyball and soccer and was going to play for the Herkimer College Soccer Team this coming Fall. She lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Sara will be held in the hearts and memories of her family, her parents, Michael and Gina Testa of Frankfort; her sister, Samantha (Sami) Testa of Frankfort; her grandparents, Rachel Testa of Herkimer, Paul Puleo of Frankfort and Joann Puleo of Ilion; aunts and uncles, Nick and Kathy Testa, Ronnie and Debbie Testa, Regina Testa, Mark and Anne Marie Puleo, Mike and Cindy Puleo, Paul and Crissy Puleo and Mary Jane and John Carney. She is also survived by a special friend, Joe Giglio, many cousins, friends and her canine companion, Simon Theodore. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Simon Testa.
