MOHAWK - Mr. Warren P. "Bud" Vrooman, age 71, of Mohawk, NY, passed away on Sunday morning September 28, 2014. Bud's death followed a brief illness and occurred on the 2nd floor of the Mohawk Valley Healthcare Center in Ilion, NY. Bud was a kind and gentle man. He was born on September 18, 1943 in New York City a son of the late Dr. Vernon P. and Erminia E. (Volpe) Vrooman. He was a graduate of Shaker High School in Latham, NY. Bud lived in Mohawk since 1993 and worked with Hummel's Office Plus in Mohawk as an assembler. He is survived by his sister Lynne Hollander and her husband David of Bristol, TN; his uncle Ronald Volpe of Ohio; and his aunt Mary Vrooman of Herkimer. Bud's sister Lynne and family are grateful to his neighbors and friends for the support through the years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY (Town of Frankfort). After the service burial will take place in Mohawk Cemetery, John Street entrance. There are no calling hours.
