Obituary of Rose L. March

HERKIMER / ILION - Mrs. Rose L. (Cherry) March, age 89, passed away on Wednesday morning October 22, 2014 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, town of New Hartford with her loving family at her side. She was born in Herkimer, NY on March 4, 1925, daughter of the late Anthony and Donata (DeMarco) Cherry. She attended Herkimer schools. Rose was united in marriage with Howard A. March on March 8, 1947 at St. Francis de Sales Church in Herkimer. Mr. March passed away on October 26, 1992. Rose had worked at HM Quackenbush of Herkimer and was last employed with Mohawk Data Sciences of Herkimer. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her children: Bonny Brownrigg and husband Thomas of Ilion, Howard March and wife Carol of Ilion, Dennis March and wife Cyndy of Townsend, MA, and Lori Usyk and husband Richard of Ilion; a sister Sue Dawidowicz of Herkimer; grandchildren: Jeff Brownrigg and Pam, Scott Brownrigg and Bridget, Jason Brownrigg and Beatrice, Karen Burt and Eric, Kelly March, Dennis March and Kana, James March - Mistler and Keith, Erica Lebert and Joe, Chrissy Usyk, Kari Cieslak and Joe, and Jamie Martino and Mike; great grandchildren: Brandon, Kyle, Matthew, Morgan, Callie, Brady, Eric, Kayla, Ryan, Shiori, and Ellie; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 25th, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion (Town of Frankfort). Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. Calling hours at the funeral home, will be held on Friday Oct. 24th from 5 until 8 PM. The National Kidney Foundation 731 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13203 is where donation requests are asked to be considered. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
