LITTLE FALLS - Mrs. Betty Ullman, age 90, a life time resident of Little Falls, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014, at the home of her son in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on August 28, 1924 in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Frank and Amelia (Deluc) Andrilla. She was the youngest of 9 children. Her siblings also preceded her in death. She had 4 sisters (Thelma Eckard, Mary Luciano, Jane McEwen and Mildred Spine) and 3 brothers (Ray Andrilla, Joseph Andrilla and Bernard Andrilla). Betty was a graduate of Little Falls High School. Betty's marriage to Wilbur Ullman took place on May 17, 1947 at St. Joseph's Church in Little Falls. The couple shared in 49 years of marriage up until Mr. Ullman passed away on February 7, 1996. After graduating high school, Betty was employed as an office clerk with Woolworth's Department Store in Little Falls for over 27 years. She also worked part time at Daffy Discount Store from 1977 to 1982 and at Hemstrought's Bakery. She was a long time member of the Saint Joseph's Church and the Holy Family Parish and the church Rosary Society. She was a Little Falls Lady Elk and just loved to bake, especially at Christmas time. She is survived by her two sons: Ronald Ullman and wife Debra of Columbus, GA and Richard Ullman of Atlanta, GA. Two grandchildren Laura Ullman- Barden and husband, Michael and John Ullman and wife Keely and three great grandchildren; Hannah Barden, Hailey Barden and Reid Ullman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 at 10:30 AM at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY where prayer will be offered, and at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish, corner of East Main & John Streets in Little Falls where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Terence Healy, Pastor. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. The family will be present at the funeral home for a calling hour for family and friends to visit on Monday from 9:30 until the start of the service.
