Obituary of Aleithia C. Davis

ILION - Aleithia "Babe" C. Davis, age 79, of St. Cloud, FL, formerly of Ilion, passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Oceola Health Care, St. Cloud, FL. She was born on April 21, 1935, in Ilion, the daughter of Tilford "Til" and Ruth (Lyman) Crisler, and graduated from Ilion High School and BOCES LPN Program in 1979. On November 13, 1954, she was married to Francis A. Davis in Ilion. He died on April 1, 1997. "Babe" was employed as an LPN at Stuart Nursing & Restorative Care in Stuart, FL. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Ilion Baptist Church and the Ilion OES. Surviving family members include her five children, Karen Dowd and her husband, John, of Mohawk, Daniel Davis and his wife, Tracy, of Deltona, FL, Dianna Davis and her companion, Dennis Borgemann, of FL, Michael Davis and his wife, Anne, of Palm Bay, FL, and Eric Davis, Lt. COL. (Ret.), and his wife, Jodi, of Cheyenne, WY; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; her stepsister, Dorothy Murphy, of Mohawk; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her stepmother, Marjorie Crisler; and her stepsister, Nancy McCleary. In keeping with "Babe's" wishes, there are no scheduled calling hours or funeral services. Interment will be at Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, on the family lot.
