MOHAWK- Mr. Leland W. Pedersen, Sr. age 84, passed away on Saturday evening December 6, 2014 in Herkimer, NY. He was born on May 31, 1930 in Pittsford, NY, a son of the late Andrew and Susan (Potter) Pedersen. He attended schools in Madison. Lee served our country with the United States Air Force. He was last employed with Wal-Mart as a greeter. Lee was a dairy farmer in Little Falls for many years. He is survived by his son Lee, Jr., daughters Sue Forbes and Brenda Fellows, two brothers, two sisters, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Michelle Shafer and several siblings. Funeral services will be held in the spring of 2015 in Little Falls, New York where a graveside service with military honors will be held at Church Street Cemetery, where his cremains will be placed to rest atop of his daughter Michelle. Friends and relatives will have ample notification prior to the service times that will be set. There are no calling hours at this time.
