LEVITTOWN, NY - Carol Edna French (McGarvey), age 78, died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday December 13, 2014. Her place of birth was Rosedale, Queens, NY on April 19, 1936. She was formerly of Ocklawaha, Florida and Lynbrook, NY. She was united in marriage to her loving husband of 57 years Martin C. French on October 2, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2012. She is survived by her loving family, children, Debra A. French of Ilion, NY, Patricia A. Skidmore of Levittown, NY, John M. French of Orlando, Florida, and Suzanne C. Collazo of Ocala, Florida, six cherished grandchildren, Christopher J. French, Michael P. Skidmore, Christina M. Skidmore, Jennifer A. Skidmore, Nicholas M. Skidmore, and Destiny M. French. She also leaves behind her two loving pugs Patches and Peaches. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 8:00 PM at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes, Inc., Wantagh, NY. Visitation to take place Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes, Inc., Wantagh, NY. Cremation will be in care of LI Cremation Co. Inc., W. Babylon, NY.
