Obituary of James S. Zysk

SANTA ANA, CA/LITTLE FALLS, NY: The family and friends of James Stanley "Jimmy" Zysk, 43, a Little Falls native, are saddened by his unexpected passing, which took place on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Santa Ana, CA. Born in Little Falls on December 19, 1971, Jimmy is the son of Stanley (Bruddy) and Noreen (Cotter) Zysk. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School, Class of 1990 and continued his education, at SUNY Oswego. On March 31, 2012 he was married to the former Rochelle Haynes. He was currently employed at Ceridian Tax Services in Fountain Valley, CA as a project manager and at one time was employed by Taco Bell of Irvine, CA as a manager of software quality assurance. Jimmy was passionate about sports and excelled in baseball, playing for Little Falls High School, and played semi-pro ball in California. Affectionately known to his fellow employees at Ceridian as "Mr. Fun", Jimmy was full of life and loved to have a good time. He was very family-oriented and will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Rochelle of 1010 W. Macarthur Blvd., #79, Santa, Ana, CA 92707; his parents, Stanley and Noreen Zysk of Little Falls; his brothers and their spouses, Andrew and Sharon Zysk of Little Falls and Walter and Alicia Zysk of Bronx, NY; his special nieces and nephews, Kaylan, Anthony and Kendall Zysk; aunts and uncles, Ann Zysk, Toni and David Zaleski, Kathy and Barry Johns, Mark and Charlene Zysk, Liz and Rod Pritchard, Cathy and David Carpineti, Ann Cotter and many special cousins. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Sue Haynes and brother-in-law, Mike Haynes and his son Broden of California. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Stan and Adele Zysk, Robert and Helen Cotter and his uncles, Eddie and Jimmy Cotter. Calling hours will take place on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 4 until 7PM at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315)823-2424. Jimmy's Memorial Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11 AM at Holy Family Parish, corner of John/Main Streets, Little Falls with The Reverend Terence Healy officiating, assisted by Deacon James Bower. Burial will take place in the Spring of 2015 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. In lieu of floral arrangements, donations can be made in Jimmy's memory to Holy Family Parish, Little Falls; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
