Obituary of Lawrence A. Wentworth

ILION - Mr. Lawrence A. Wentworth, Jr., age 57, a lifelong resident of Ilion, died after a brief illness on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on July 31, 1957 in Ilion, a son of the late Lawrence A. Wentworth Sr. and Sandra (Pierce) Wentworth. He was a graduate of Ilion High School. His marriage to the former Virginia L. Flach "Ginny" took place on August 24, 1997 in West Winfield. He worked for many years with Remington Arms in Ilion and held Union membership. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. A very special thank you goes out to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He is survived by his wife, Ginny, children Bryan Wentworth, Brittany Wentworth, Daniel Swift, Robert Nedell, Michael Wentworth, and Joshua Wentworth, brothers, Michael & Richard Wentworth, sisters, Cathy Rouillier and Brenda Sabatino, 9 grandchildren, god - children Alexis and Paul Bailey, and In - Laws, Jennifer Zalewski, Terry Snyder - Rowe, Allen Flach, James Flach, and Arnold Flach, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 25th, 2015 at 4:00 PM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, (Town of Frankfort), Ilion, NY, and will consist of a small prayer and reflection. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. The family is being served by Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E.
