HERKIMER - ILION - Mrs. Patricia A. Oldfield, age 77, a native of Herkimer, NY, and a resident of the Prindle Apartments in Ilion, passed away on Monday March 2, 2015 at Faxton - St. Luke's Healthcare, Allen Calder Wing, town of New Hartford, NY after a brief illness. She was born on October 27, 1937 in Herkimer, NY, a daughter of the late John R. and Ruth I. (Kelley) Deck. She was a graduate of Herkimer High School, 'Class of 1955.' Her marriage to Andrew "Ted" Oldfield took place on May 4, 1957 at the First United Methodist Church of Herkimer with the Reverend Fred Cotnam officiating. The couple shared in a blessed union of nearly 52 years until the passing of Ted on March 14, 2009. She is survived by her step - mother, Margaret "Peg" Deck, a resident of the Masonic Home of Utica, her step - children, Daniel (Louise) Oldfield of Middleville and Linda Owens of Deansboro, and her step daughter-in-law, Judy (Oldfield) Whitford of Ilion, her sisters, Sylvia Borkowski and her husband Robert of Syracuse and Roberta Braren and her husband Jack of Liverpool, a special niece Ann Hilts of Herkimer, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step - son Donald Oldfield. Her funeral arrangements are with The Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street in Herkimer, NY under the direction of Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea (315) 866-1011. There will be a memorial service for family and friends on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Prindle Apartments Community Area, 80 East North Street in Ilion with Rev.
