Obituary of Susie E. Youker

SALISBURY CENTER - Mrs. Susie E. Youker, age 79, of Salisbury Center, NY, died Saturday March 14, 2015 in Faxton - St. Luke's Healthcare, Town of New Hartford, NY. Susie was born in Stratford, NY, on September 1, 1935 the daughter of the late Horatio and Catherine (Keller) Moshier. She was educated in schools there. Her marriage to Ivan R. Youker took place on August 28, 1954 in Little Falls. Mr. Youker passed away on June 30, 1999 after 44 years of marriage. Susie worked for many years with the Daniel Green Shoe Corporation of Dolgeville. She was a member of the Dolgeville United Methodist Church, and the U.M.W. She was a member also of the Stratford Senior Citizens as well a previous member of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens. Her love of cooking showed by the many Sunday, and celebration dinners at her house, and the many church dinners that she worked, along with at one time doing breakfasts for the Rotary Club at the church. Surviving her is her son, Kenneth Youker and his wife Dawn of Spring Hill, Florida, her granddaughter Renee, children Andrea, Trey, and Alanna, grandson Lowell and his wife Ashley, children Caileigh, Ellianna, and Dominic, and grandson Darryl Youker, several nieces, nephews and In - Laws. She was predeceased by her brothers Daniel and James, and her sisters Catherine and Elizabeth. Her funeral and calling hours will be held in the spring in Dolgeville, NY where a service will be celebrated at a time and place to be announced. Spring burial will take place in Salisbury Rural Cemetery. Friends and relatives will have ample notification prior to the service times that will be set.
