ILION - Leonard "Lenny" R. Perry, age 39, of Catherine St., Ilion, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Lenny was born on March 2, 1976, in Ilion, the son of Robert L. Perry and Susan M. Jones. He attended Ilion, Mt. Markham and Mohawk schools. At one time, Lenny was employed at Ocuto Blacktop & Paving Co., Inc., in Rome, NY. Surviving family members include his mother and father, Susan Clarkin, of Holland Patent, and Robert "Bob" Perry, of Ilion; his children, Sarah and Austin Filmer and Trent Ingraham; his grandson, Daniel; his brothers and sisters, Robert V. Perry, of Frankfort, Georgia Foster, of Clay, NY, Christy Farber, of Utica, Jessica Kelsey and her husband, Todd, of Rome, NY, and Nathan Perry and his wife, Nicole, of Frankfort; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home's larger facility location at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.), between Ilion and Frankfort, with Deacon James Bower officiating. Spring interment will be in Cedarville Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the funeral home service at Acme Rd. (old Main St.), between Ilion and Frankfort.
