Obituary of Roy H. Johnson

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Roy H. Johnson, III, age 26, of State Highway 5, St. Johnsville, NY, passed away suddenly and accidently on Friday April 24, 2015 in Canajoharie, NY. He was born on December 19, 1988 in Little Falls, son of Barbara (Smith) Johnson and the late Roy H. Johnson, Jr. His father passed away on July 14, 2012. Roy attended St. Johnsville schools, and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, "Class of 2007". Roy was currently employed at Taylor Made Products in Gloversville where he was well liked and made many friends. Roy was a very loving son, brother, uncle, and nephew and loved his whole family. Among his interests were fishing, hunting, and a great love of animals. Survivors include his beloved family, his mother Barbara of St. Johnsville, his sons, Roy H. Johnson, IV and Ethan P. Johnson, his sisters, Amie Johnson and her boyfriend Donald Folts of Cherry Valley, Stacy Brisbane and her husband Thomas of North Carolina, Jessica Johnson and her boyfriend Nathan Victor of Nelliston, Sarah Maye and her husband Robert of Ephratah, and Carrie Johnson and her boyfriend Anthony Scunziano of Northville, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a very special friend who was like his second mother, Trudy Farley of Oppenheim. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street in St. Johnsville, NY from 10 am until 12 Noon on Wednesday April 29, 2015. A religious service will take place at the conclusion of calling hours at 12 Noon at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Hans Drews, officiating. Procession will follow to Curtiss Corners Cemetery in Salisbury where he will be laid to rest alongside his dad.
