ILION-BRIDGEWATER - Margaret A Wildey, age 70, of Renzo St., Bridgewater, formerly of Ilion, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. She was born on August 13, 1944, in Ilion, the daughter of George and Mildred (Becker) Armstrong, and attended Herkimer schools. On March 7, 1964, she was married to John W. Wildey in Frankfort. He died on May 30, 1986. Surviving family members include her daughters, Elizabeth Bond, with whom she resided in Bridgewater, and Kellie Wildey and her husband, Aaron Davis, of Bridgewater; her sons, John Wildey, Jr., and his wife, Sandi, of Herkimer, and James Wildey and his wife, Tina, of Cincinnati, OH; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven sisters; one brother; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; her son, William; her brother, George Armstrong; and her sisters, Jean Wildey and Mary "Suzie" Crossman. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home's larger location at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.), between Ilion and Frankfort, with Rev. Robert Wollaber, Pastor of the Morning Star United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Frankfort Center Cemetery.
