Obituary of Donna MacLean

DOLGEVILLE - Mrs. Donna L. Mac Lean, 72, a lifelong resident of Dolgeville passed away at home on August 30, 2015 after a short illness. She was born in Dolgeville on February 17, 1943, the daughter of the late Bernard Crossman and Louise Randall (Crossman) Graudons, and attended Dolgeville schools. She was married to the late John (Jack) Mac Lean, on December 4th, 1972, who predeceased her on November 16, 2010. She was employed early in life at the Daniel Green Company, and later as a Herkimer County Home Health Aide, where she retired from in May 2011. She will miss the numerous people she provided care for over the years as well as the several neighbors and friends she cherished. She dearly loved her family, shopping, garage sales and her iPad. Her most warming smile will be remembered not only by her family, but by her many friends. She is survived by her children and their families: A son Dean, his wife Mi Suk and their son Cody of Summerfield, NC; her daughter Shelly Mac Lean and her companion Herman Mosher and their children, Joshua, Chelsea and Jacob, of Utica, NY; and son John and his wife Faith, and their children John, Christopher, and Jessica of Perth, NY. She was also the great-grand parent of Joshua & Emily Mosher, Hailey & Gianna Mac Lean. She was predeceased by her brother Bruce and sister Dale; and is survived by sister Joyce of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother Gary Smith and his wife Linda of Perry, NY; and Brother Bernie Crossman and his wife Diane of Dolgeville, NY. She is also survived by sister-in-law Beverly and her husband Merwin Trasky of Inghams Mills; and brother-in-law Joseph Langer of Manchester, CT. In addition to her family and not limiting her many friends she also two very dear and special friends, Doris Healy and Madelyn Randall. Graveside services will be held Friday morning September 4th, 2015 at 10AM in the Dolgeville Cemetery for Donna and her husband John. Rev. Jack A. Ford, pastor of the Dolgeville United Methodist Church will officiate. There are No Calling Hours. Memorials in her name may be sent to Hospice 4277 Middle Settlement Road New Hartford, NY 13413. Envelopes will be available at the service. Her arrangements are entrusted to Brian A. Roberts of the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
