HERKIMER – Mrs. Laura Jean Perry, 68, of Herkimer, NY, passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday September 29, 2015 in Little Falls, NY. She was born on February 10, 1947 in Utica, NY, the daughter of Dorothy S. Kelly and the late Robert T. Kelly. She has been a resident of the Ilion and Herkimer areas for many years. Throughout the years, Laura worked various jobs with Hemstrought’s Bakery, Meals - On -Wheels and General Electric. She married Eric G. Perry in St. Francis de Sales Church in Utica, on November 30, 1968, a union that lasted nearly 47 years. She was of the Catholic faith. Laura had a great love of animals and was a dedicated caregiver to her family. Laura is survived by her husband Eric, her mother, Dorothy, a daughter, Joann Kelly and her husband Patrick, and a son, Jeffery Perry (Heather), her four grandchildren, Carter and Isabella Perry, and Matthew and Grace Kelly, and her brothers Robert Kelly and wife Cindy and John Kelly and wife Ronna. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Robert. There are no visiting hours. A funeral home memorial service will take place followed by burial at the family’s convenience at St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
