LITTLE FALLS - Mr. Clifton Jones, age 68, of Little Falls, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in the comfort of his home. Born on June 17, 1947, Clifton was the son of the late Leroy and Ruth (Dunn) Merring. He was raised and educated in Little Falls, attending local schools. For over twenty years, Clifton shared in a relationship with Nina Green, and the two remained steadfast and dedicated companions. A driven man who never stopped working to support his family, Clifton was employed as a driver for Nash Fuel in Little Falls for close to twenty years. His hard work and dedication were traits that he passed along to his children and grandchildren. Clifton leaves behind his life companion, Nina Green; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Cheryl Compton and Richard and Lynda Jones, all of Little Falls; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacylynn and Matt Rayno of Little Falls; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Clifton’s memorial calling hours which will take place on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 4:00-6:00PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St. Little Falls, NY, 13365. Clifton’s memorial service and Celebration of Life will take place at 6:00PM, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation, with Pastor David Hayner of the New Life Church in Herkimer, officiating.
