FLORIDA / ILION – Mrs. Jeanne E. (Phillips) Listovitch, age 69, currently of Fruitland Park, FL, and formerly of Ilion, died on Tuesday morning, March 8, 2016. She passed in the peace and comfort of her home with her loving family by her bedside. Born on January 2, 1947, Jeanne was the daughter of the late Earl Phillips and Jean Brewer. She was raised and educated in Middleville and attended West Canada Valley High School. On March 8, 1973, Jeanne was wed to Lawrence “Larry” Listovitch, and the couple shared in 43 wonderful years together. Jeanne’s number one priority was always her family, and she was dedicated to raising her children. She was a kind woman, with a big heart, and she will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Robert Vandawalker and Christine Rende, all of Ilion, and Anne and Christopher Perry, of Bridgewater; her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jennifer (Crossway) Warner, of Ilion; many grandchildren, including Jared Vandawalker, Caitlyn Vandawalker, Andrew Vandawalker, Bryan March, Jeffrey Near, Rachael Phillips, Christopher Perry, Jennifer Warner, Steffen Warner and Amy Warner; and her great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Carson March and Meredith and Liam Vandawalker. She also leaves her sisters and brother-in-law, Jamie and Ron Barringer and Katherine Franklin; her brothers and sister-in-law, Earl Phillips, Jr., David and Janine Phillips and James Terwilliger; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her brother-in-law, Terrence Listovitch. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM –11:00 AM on Monday, March 14, 2016, from the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s newly reopened and renovated home at 102 West Street, Ilion, NY 13357. Jeanne’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, March 14, 2016, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Procession will follow to Armory Hill Cemetery, where Jeanne will be laid to rest. Those wishing to do so, may consider memorial contributions, in Jeanne’s name, to the American Cancer Society.
