She was born on October 10, 1948, in Ilion, the daughter of Robert and Alma (Quesnel) Entwistle. Denise graduated from West Winfield High School as the Valedictorian. She also graduated from Georgetown University and later from George Washington University, receiving a Masters Degree in early childhood special education. Surviving family members include her husband of 42 years, Mike; her mother and father, Alma and Robert Entwistle; her daughters, Adrienne Albin and Richard Scalise, Megan Graziano and her husband, Todd, and Kimberly Albin and her boyfriend, Daniel MacIntyre; 5 grandchildren, Rowan Albin, Alexandria, Mia and Amelia Graziano, and Samuel Scalise; her sisters, Mary Bentley and her husband, Tom, Susan Sanders and her husband, Randy, Margaret Bielby and her husband, Jack, and Jane Flanagan and her husband, Douglas; her brothers, Robert Entwistle and his wife, Janice, Steven Entwistle, Joseph Entwistle and his wife, Sandy, and James Entwistle and his wife, Beth; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
