Obituary of Lynn G. Bormann, III

Mr. Lynn G. Bormann, III, age 49, currently of Brasher Falls, and formerly of Ilion and Herkimer, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Born on January 23, 1967, Lynn was the son of the late Lynn G. Bormann Jr. and Helen (Dehrburg) Bormann. He was raised and educated in local schools and graduated from Poland Central Schools. Lynn worked many jobs over the years, including construction, farm work, and as a delivery driver for the Utica Observer Dispatch Lynn is survived by his daughter, April Waller and her partner, James Sebastian of Massena; his sons, John Bormann and Lynn Bormann, IV, both of Massena and Christopher Bormann of the Town of Ohio; the mother of his children, Tina Waller, with whom he shared a 19 1/2 year relationship; his grandchildren, Devon, Dustin, Isabella, Michael, Kensleigh and Brayden; and his siblings, Ted and Wendy Shufelt, Wanda Shufelt, Dawn and Jason Sovis, and Philip and Debbie Bormann. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, with special mention of his nephew, Philip Borman, Jr. Besides his parents, Lynn was predeceased by his brothers, Terry Shufelt and Scott Bormann. Visitation will be held from 12PM – 1PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger facility at 4309 Acme Road (old Main St) between Ilion and Frankfort. Lynn’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence at 1:00PM on Wednesday, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation.
