FRANKFORT - Mr. James A. “Jim” Hagadorn, age 66, a longtime Frankfort resident, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016, at the Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Center. Born on September 23, 1949, James was the son of the late Raymond and Florence (Riddell) Hagadorn. He was raised and educated in West Winfield and attended local schools. On August 14, 1992, Jim was wed to the love of his life, the former Bonnie Rose Nabinger, and the couple shared in a twelve year union until Bonnie’s untimely passing in December of 2004. For over twenty years Jim was employed as a machinist with the Divine Brothers Company in Utica. He then worked for the Faster-Form Corp. in Frankfort for a number of years, a position from which he retired. Hardworking by his very nature, Jim was a dedicated breadwinner with a strong work ethic; traits which he passed on to his own children. Jim had a big heart and a knack for helping others. He always put his children first and his grandchildren were the light of his life. He will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind, including his daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Jo and Ernest Stone of Ilion; his son and daughter-in-law, James and Marianne Hagadorn of Whitesboro; his five grandchildren, Lucy, Liam, Lucas, Logan and EJ; his brothers and sister-in-law, Bob and Sharon Hagadorn of Frankfort and Tom Hagadorn of Cassville; his sister, Debbie Hagadorn of Cassville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws, and a special friend, Alice King and her son, AJ Humphreys. Besides his parents and beloved wife, Bonnie, James was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Patricia Hagadorn. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM –1:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016, from the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s newly reopened and renovated home at 102 West Street, Ilion, NY 13357. Jim’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, March 28, 2016, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Interment will take place in Armory Hill Cemetery at the convenience of Jim’s family.
