Fort Plain: Mr. Robert M. Patrei, age 65, of Fort Plain (Town of Minden), passed away on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 30, 1950 in Amsterdam, NY, a son of the late Albert and Marguerite (Mingst) Patrei and was educated in St. Johnsville schools. Robert served our country with the United States Army as a military policeman and served in Korea. His marriage to Joanne D. Jones took place July 17, 1976 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in St. Johnsville. He worked with the Laborer’s Local 35 Union of Utica and at one time worked with WW Custom Clad in Canajoharie. He was a member of the Albany American Legion. He is survived by his wife Joanne, his son, Chris Patrei of Fort Plain, a brother and sister-in-law, Brian Patrei and Marguerite “Peggy” of St. Johnsville, three grandchildren, Donavan, Tyler, and Sierra, and several nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Gary and Ronnie. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Robert’s graveside service on Friday, June 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Freysbush Cemetery, with Rev. David Johnson, Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, officiating. Flag presentation will be led by the US Army. There are no calling hours. Those wishing are asked to consider Mt.
