ILION: William Clark Whitford, 69, joined his heavenly family on August 7, 2016 after a brief illness. Born in Jamestown NY, most recently from Ilion NY, Bill was a professional salesman working for organizations including Metrosonics, Ritec, Telog and retired from Siemens in April 2015. Bill leaves his wife Judy (Murdock-Oldfield) Whitford. They blended their family of six children on November 30 1991: Darren (Jessica) and Derek (Kim Reed) Whitford, Tammy (Jim) Canaan, Don (Amanda) Oldfield, Scott (Natalie) Oldfield and Donna (Kevin) Allport. Adored grandchildren are Bethany & Rebecca Canaan, Christopher Whitford, Shelby & Riley Wittmer, Alice & Rowan Oldfield, John & Kenneth Allport, Samantha & Michael Reed. Bill also leaves sisters: Juanita (Robert) LeBaron, Jackie (Jon Schoonmaker) Thies, brother, Thomas Whitford, two uncles Ray and Dick (Darlene) Clark, brother-in-law’s Dick (Chris Crozier) & Bob (Sherry) Murdock, sister-in-law’s Sally Murdock, Theresa (Russ Collins) Murdock, JoAnn Petkovsek, Mary Kanady, Martha (Jim) Caliguire and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents Floyd and Mary Whitford and brother Robert Whitford.
