LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Celine A. (Doyle) Tomaso, passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday August 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica, NY with loving family at her side. Born on Feb. 8, 1930 in Little Falls, Celine was the daughter of the late John F. and Anne (Geraghty) Doyle. She attended school and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy, ‘Class of 1947’. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish. She worked as a physical therapy aide at Little Falls Hospital for 20 years. She was united in marriage to Charles Tomaso on August 19, 1950 in St. Mary’s Church, Little Falls. The couple had shared in a blessed union of 49 years. Mr. Tomaso passed away on March 22, 2000. Celine was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her family was her life. Nothing mattered more to her than the health and happiness of her loved ones. Survivors include her children, Mary Anne Cecconi and husband Louis of Little Falls, Anthony Tomaso and wife Deborah of Ballston Spa, Charles Tomaso of Schuyler, Paul Tomaso of Mohawk, and Mark Tomaso and wife Michelle of Milford, MA, her sister, Mary Doyle, her grandchildren, Christopher and Michael Tomaso, Jennifer Brune, Erika Gallagher, Jamie and Steven Tomaso, Ryan and Joseph Cecconi, Cara Tomaso, Justine and Rachel Tomaso, Jacob and Amanda Tomaso, great - grandchildren, Jamie Grace Gallagher, Lila Tomaso, Charles Tomaso, Cameron Beachel, Evan Tomaso, several nieces and nephews, and In -Laws, Dolores Doyle, Tess Petti and Tony Petti and her very special friend Donna Vaughn. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles, her grandson Alan Cecconi as well as brothers Fred and John Doyle, and her sister Claire Smith. The funeral will commence on Monday August 22, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY and at 11:00 a.m. from the Holy Family Parish Church (corner of East Main and John Streets) with the Reverend Terence Healy, Pastor, celebrating her Mass of Christian Burial. Procession will follow to St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer, where interment will take place. Friends and family may call at the Enea Family Funeral Home on Sunday August 21 from 3 until 6 PM.
