Obituary of Cheryl Meola

Mrs. Cheryl (Repecki) Meola, age 49, of Bradenton, Florida and formerly of Dickson City, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2016. Born on August 2, 1967, Cheryl is the daughter of Michael and Carole (Blakiewicz) Repecki. She was a graduate of Mid Valley Secondary Center with the Class of 1985, and went on to complete the CTC Nursing Program. On May 5, 2007, Cheryl was united in marriage to Frank Meola, Jr. She was employed as a nurse by Pinnacle Healthcare, where she gave selflessly to others with compassion and love. Outside of work, she enjoyed time spent with family and her beloved dogs, Maxwell, Molly and Axel, whom she loved with all of her heart. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Frank Meola, Jr.; her parents, Michael S. and Carole Repecki; her sister, Carolyn Repecki; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael P. and Rebecca Repecki and Mark and Jeanie Repecki; three step-children, Matthew, Mackenzie and Victoria Meola; three step-grandsons Wesley, Vinny, and Charlie Meola and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her in-laws, Frank and Geraldine Meola, Sr. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Stanley and Mary Repecki and maternal grandparents, Walter and Mary Blakiewicz. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Cheryl’s visitation, which will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 12NOON – 2:00PM at the Manasota Funeral Home,1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton, FL 34203, (941) 755-2688. A Memorial Service will commence at 2:00PM from the chapel of the funeral home, immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Cheryl’s earthly remains will be brought back to her hometown, and a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00AM at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1090 Carmalt Street, Dickson City, PA.
