Little Falls Mrs. Sandra L. Gay 79 of 30 Top Notch Drive Little Falls, died Thursday September 22, 2016 at her residence after a brief illness. At the time of her passing she was comforted with the love and support of her family. She was born on August 14, 1937 in Little Falls, the daughter of John J. and Sadie E. (Petrie) Shull. Upon graduating from high school she attended Nathan Littauer School of Nursing. Her marriage to George W. Gay was on September 1st, 1956 in the Methodist Church in Herkimer. Mr. Gay predeceased her on April 27th of this year. They would have celebrated 60 year of Marriage this past September 1st. Mrs. Gay’s family always came first, but she did enjoy gardening and her many trips to the Maine sea shore with her family. She is survived by her children George W. and Valerie Gay of Little Falls, John I. and Sue Ellen Gay of Newport, her daughter Sharon L. and Michael Collins of Little Falls, her grandchildren Lisa and Tom Hughes, Amanda and Ron Zawtocki, Katherine Gay, and her Fiancée’ Mark Murdock, Rachael Gay and her companion Byron Lynch, Zachary and Amanda Keep her great granddaughters Grace and Lilly and her faithful canine companion “Buddy”. A Brother in law Ronald Hayes a Nephew & Niece Rodney and Rhonda Hayes. She was predeceased by a sister Joan Hayes. In keeping with her wishes there are No Calling hours or Services.
