ST. JOHNSVILLE – Mr. Stanley H. Johnson passed away comfortably on November 3, 2016 at 8:45 PM at The Pines at Catskill Skilled Nursing Facility in Catskill, NY. His nephew Steven and his wife Pastor Bonnie were at his side when he passed. He was born on October 26, 1923 to Evert and Beatrice (Hayes) Johnson. He was a resident of St. Johnsville all his life until failing health took him away to be with his sister Lois in East Durham, New York. Stanley Graduated from St. Johnsville Central School. He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Utica College of Syracuse University and a Master’s of Science Degree from State University at Albany. Stanley is survived by his sister, Lois Snyder of East Durham, New York; and two nephews: David Snyder and his wife Sandi of Clifton Park, New York and Steven Snyder and his wife Pastor Bonnie of Cairo, New York. There will be no funeral service. His ashes will be interred at West St. Johnsville Cemetery this month at a time convenient to the family at which time Pastor Bonnie will officiate. Contributions may be made to Grace Christian Church or the Margaret Reaney Memorial Library. Envelopes are available at The Enea Family Funeral Home for these purposes. A special thank you needs to be expressed to the Pines of Catskill, 2nd Floor Rehabilitation Unit. The aids and staff there did a wonderful job tending to Stanley and his family.
