Obituary of Frank F. Leskovec

LITTLE FALLS – Mr. Frank F. Leskovec, of Little Falls, NY passed away on Monday evening May 15, 2017 at Homelife at Folts, Herkimer, NY.

 

Born to Frank and Elizabeth Leskovec in Little Falls, he was educated in local schools; he lived the most of his life in the Mohawk Valley. He served our country with the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. He was married to the former Alice Staunstrup. He worked as a toolmaker for many years with Remington Arms, Ilion, NY. Frank was an avid, year-round outdoorsman who loved the Adirondacks, hunting, fishing, and especially spending time at the family cabin that he built himself. A good number of years of his life were spent raising his family in Ilion; he later returned with his wife to Little Falls, where he resided a few blocks down the street from where he grew up. A volunteer at the Little Falls Community Co-Op, a member of the Elk’s and VFW, Frank attended the St. Paul’s Universalist Church, and while in his 80’s discovered a passion for golf!

 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice; his son Eric Leskovec and his wife Julie of Glens Falls, NY and their children Mark and Jenna; his daughter Christine Leskovec and her partner Jenna Milner of Trumansburg, NY, a brother Ernest, and his wife Jennifer Leskovec of Portland, Oregon and one niece.

 

His funeral arrangements are entrusted to The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY. Funeral Directors Harry J. & Kevin E. Enea (315) 823-2424. The family plot is in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. There are no services. An online memorial page has been established at www.eneafamily.com on the Internet.
