Obituary of Celia A Ayers
STRATFORD - Celia Agnes Ayers born September 3,1926 passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 90 after a short illness in her home surrounded by her children. Celia married Martin Ayers who along with their son Tom predeceased her. She is survived by her two sons Dale Ayers (Kathi Geglia) and Dennis Ayers and her 3 daughters Diana Ayers-Darling (Don), Debra Reifenrath (John) and Sandra Sargeant (Alan). She is also survived by her two grandsons Jake Darling and Dylan Evans. She was a school bus driver for both Stratford Central School and Dolgeville Central School until her retirement in 1990. Celia leaves behind many friends including her “music family” to whom she wished a fond farewell. She will be remembered by family and friends for her talent and love of music as well as her kind heart. She touched many lives and will be missed by all.
In honoring her wishes there will be no service. She requested that in lieu of cards or flowers donations be sent to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037-1830.
