Obituary of Bruce R. Crimmins

LITTLE FALLS- Mr. Bruce R. Crimmins, age 79, passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2017, in the comfort of his home.

 

Born on January 10, 1938, Bruce was the son of the late George Sr. and Elizabeth (Klimacek) Crimmins. As a Little Falls High School graduate, he entered the Marine Corp in 1957 and served until 1960. He continued his education in engineering later working for Lockheed Martin as a mechanical engineer. He also worked for the Little Falls Police Dept. as a Dispatcher. After his retirement, he took a position with the Enea Family Funeral Home, until the time of his passing. He was a lifelong parishioner and usher at Holy Family Parish in Little Falls.

 

Bruce had a love and passion for the game of golf. Every moment he had, he would play the Little Falls Golf Course. He was also an avid sports fan, especially when the NY Yankees and the NY Giants were in season. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching old western movies and playing a good game a pitch on Monday evenings . Most of all, Bruce adored his family. When they needed him, he was always there to guide them through life.

 

Surviving are his three daughters and a son in-law, Michele Crimmins of Little Falls, Kristin and Art Eunson of Ballston Lake, and Karen Crimmins of Whitesboro; and his grandchildren, Adam Miller, Carson Marko, II, Simone Eunson and Nicholas Eunson. He is also survived by his special friend and ex-wife, Cheryl DiCesare and his great-aunt Margret Prochazka, along with many nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his brother George Crimmins, Jr. and his sister Barbara Darling.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday August 18, 2017, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls, NY (315)823-2424. Bruce’s funeral service will commence on Saturday morning, August 19, 2017, at 9:15AM at the funeral home and at 10:00AM at Holy Family Parish in Little Falls, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Terence Healy, Sacramental Minister. His burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
