Obituary of Rudolph "Rudy" J. Lorenzoni

LITTLE FALLS - Mr. Rudolph "Rudy" J. Lorenzoni, age 87, a lifelong resident of Little Falls, passed away peacefully early Friday morning October 20, 2017 at HomeLife at Folts Home in Herkimer, NY. Rudy was born on May 19, 1930 in Little Falls, son of the late Nello and Cesira “Jennie” (Fenni) Lorenzoni.  Rudy received his education in Little Falls schools. Rudy was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army having been honorably discharged after two years of dedicated service. Rudy was a carpenter by trade and worked full time with HR Beebe Construction in Utica and was a member of Carpenter’s Local Union #277 for over fifty years. His hobbies included hunting, cooking, gardening, snowshoeing and camping. Rudy was a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved family, including his two daughters: Lisa (Daniel) Tolman and Lynn Lawrence; five grandchildren: Nicole, Eric, Courtney, Lindsey and Megan; five great-grandchildren: Bella, Lucca, Everly, Killian, and Aubrie; his sister, Valerie Tooley; his brother, John Lorenzoni and Mary Ann George; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his four brothers; Joseph Lorenzoni, Albert Lorenzoni, Emilio “Fonzie” Lorenzoni, Frederick Lawrence and his three sisters; Jane Hayner and Angelina Lorenzoni and infant Valida Lorenzoni. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish Church located at 763 E. Main Street Little Falls, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. There are no calling hours and the family will gather privately to bid their final farewell at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY.
