Obituary of Kimberly E. Nevins

ILION – Kimberly “Kim” E. Nevins, age 52, of John St., passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford.

She was born on December 5, 1965, in Rochester, NY, the daughter of William and Kathleen (Storke) Moore.  Kim was employed as a Home Health Aide at Self Direct, Baldwinsville.  Kim was a devoted mother.

Surviving family members include her sons, Matthew Nolan and Nikolas Bastion, with whom she resided in Ilion; her mother, Kathleen Nolan and her husband, David, of Honeoye, NY; her best friend, Vanessa Dennis and her children, Devon Flannagan and Seth Dennis, who Kim considered her children also, since she helped raise Seth and Devon.  She was predeceased by her father.

Kim’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger facility location at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.) between Ilion and Frankfort.  Visitation will be held Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the funeral home, prior to the Celebration of Life.
