Obituary of Curtis A. Sutton
ST. JOHNSVILLE – Mr. Curtis A. Sutton, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Friday evening December 29, 2017 at Wells Nursing Home in
He was born on April 26, 1928 in the town of
Curt served our country with the United States Army, World War II, having been honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. Curt worked with HP Hood Milk Company, Canajoharie, mainly in the transportation division driving a truck. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union Local 699 for over 30 years and was a member of the
Curt loved working in his yard, which his neighbors said he manicured, and sitting on his front porch, where he could watch the world go by and chat with neighbors as they passed. He loved visits from his family, and was entertained by his great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Barbehenn and husband Frank, daughter in law, Paula Sutton, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Waona, and his son, David.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Enea Family Funeral Home,
Those wishing to remember Curt in a special way are asked to extend a donation in his honor to the St. Johnsville American Legion,
