Obituary of Patricia C. Shepardson
LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Patricia C. Shepardson, 82, passed away on Thursday March 1, 2018 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY, surrounded by her devoted family.
She was born on April 23, 1935 in the town of Danube, a daughter of the late Norman and Edna Coffin. She attended St. Mary’s Academy. She was united in marriage with Gene E. Shepardson on August 25, 1956 at St. Mary’s Church in Little Falls. Gene passed away on April 6, 1982. Pat was a member of the Holy Family Parish and enjoyed taking care of many children through the years with daycare. She was a member of the church Christian Service Group. First and foremost was the loving nature that Pat displayed to her family. She was the matriarch to her loved ones and truly enjoyed a fun game of pitch! She was a big fan of the New York Yankees and was always happy when attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She is survived by her children, Marc Shepardson and his wife Betsy, Dave Shepardson and his wife Judy, Dean Shepardson and his wife Christine, Lori Casullo and her husband David, Lisa Lorenzoni and her husband Jim, and Jon Shepardson and his wife Loreen all of Little Falls, her sister, Beverly Weiss and her husband Rick of Herkimer, her brother Bill Coffin and his wife Kathy of Ilion, her grandchildren, Nicole and Dick Geraty, Jessica and Bill Carpineti, Andrew and Alyssa Casullo, Jenna and Joe Sullivan, Maria and Chris Zink, Patrick and Angela Shepardson, Sara Casullo, Emily Lorenzoni, Joshua Keeler, Gina Shepardson, Ryan Shepardson, Kelli Shepardson, Lauren Shepardson, Leah Shepardson, and Mary Shepardson, her great-grandchildren, Olivia and Zachary Geraty, Jillian, Giuliana, and Addison Carpineti, Emma Casullo and Sophia Sullivan, and her special sister – in – law, Lucille Shepardson of Little Falls and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Norman Coffin.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at 10:15 AM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, and at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish Church, corner of East Main & John Streets in Little Falls where her Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Thomas Lawless. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Monday March 5 from 4 until 7 PM.
