Obituary of Nancy S. DeLuisi
LITTLE FALLS – Miss Nancy S. DeLuisi, affectionately remembered as “Dolly,” passed away on Thursday March 8, 2018 at Boulder Manor in Boulder, Colorado.
She was born on October 25, 1926 in Manhattan, the 4th child of six, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Mercaldo) DeLuisi, originally from Benevento, Italy and was educated in Little Falls schools. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School, ‘Class of 1944.’ Nancy worked for 25 years with the United States Army, Civil Service, lastly out of Virginia. This job offered her many different living locations throughout the years. She served in Germany, Italy and Washington, DC. She is survived by loving siblings, Vincenza Maruszak of St. Petersburg, FL and Dr. John DeLuisi of Boulder, CO, and nine nieces and five nephews in Colorado, Florida, Illinois and Arizona. She was Pre-Deceased by Dominick DeLuisi, Gilda Soccio and Theodore DeLuisi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street in Little Falls, NY and at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish Church, corner of East Main & John Streets in Little Falls, NY where her Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated, with interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer, NY. There will be a calling hour at The Enea Family Funeral Home Thursday morning from 9:30 until 10:30.
