Obituary of Jack Grippe
FRANKFORT - Mr. Jack Grippe, age 60, of Frankfort, NY, passed away on April 30, 2018, surrounded by friends and family.
Jack spent a large part of his life in the Frankfort, NY area, having also had residences in both Syracuse, NY and Jupiter, FL. He graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School in 1976 where he wrestled and played football. Jack spent many years as a top salesman for the family business, J. Grippe Industrial Supply, Co. An active outdoorsman, Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had several friends all over the country and was loved by many. Jack embraced all life had to offer and lived each moment to the fullest. He lived life on his own terms.
Jack is survived by his five children, Jacquelyn (AJ Pickett) Grippe Pickett, Brent Grippe, Marisa Grippe (Kelsie Burke), Jenna Grippe (Brandon Desormeau) and JJ Grippe; three granddaughters, Sofia Desormeau, Charlotte and Amelia Pickett; nine siblings, Gary (Sylvia) Grippe, Jody (MaryJean) Grippe, Kimberley Grippe (Roy Fuller), Karen (Garry) Rumrill, Wendy (John Button), Crystal (Rick) Reina, Brian Grippe, Mary Grippe (Guy Scram), and Bridget (John) Foti; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Alice Grippe.
A private viewing will be held for close friends and family on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 12PM - 2PM at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY (315) 894-8000. Jack will be laid to rest in the Grippe family plot in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort.
Jack's funeral arrangements and final wishes have been entrusted to Harry and Kevin Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia, Funeral Directors.
