Obituary of Donald R. Polley
ILION – Donald R. Polley, age 103, of
He was born on August 16, 1915, in Ilion, the son of Herbert and Gertrude (Coleman) Polley and graduated from
Surviving family members include his sons and daughters-in-law, Donald F. and Linda Polley, of Ilion, and Ronald and Kathy Polley, of Sanduskey, Ohio; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jane; his daughter, Gertrude Shaw; his sister, Dorothy Polley; and two brothers, Frank and Earl Polley.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018, from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s original location, at
A Prayer service will follow the calling hours at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Don’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 3, 2018, at the Church of the Annunciation,

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Annunciation,
