Obituary of Marie H. Perry
Our Mom, Marie H. Perry, age 99, was invited to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 23, 2018. She will be reunited with her husband, Frank Perry; her brothers, Anthony (Frances) Richie, Ralph (Dorothy) Richie and Nick (Mary) Richie; and her sisters, Margaret (Harry) Franchino and Catherine (Fred) Fortucci.
Marie will be missed by her three children, Robert (Patricia), Richard and Donna Perry; her grandchildren, Chad (Amy) Perry, Ann Marie Perry, Jennifer (Tony) Lisandrelli; her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Saylem, Odessa, Ophelia and Liam Perry and Mackenzie and Michael Gardner; a great-great-grandchild, Catherine Rose Gardner; a sister-in-law, Rose (Perry) Eaton; and her former daughter-in-law of many years, Patty.
A loving “thank you” to Marie’s two nephews, Nicholas Dan Richie and Roy (Rosanne) Richie, and her niece, Lucy (David) Noonan, who visited her, called her and sent her cards while at St. Johnsville Nursing Home for the past three years.
A “goodbye” to her remaining nieces and nephews who spent many weekends at each other’s houses at Overlook and in Herkimer, Madeline (Bud) Renzi, Lucia (Pamela and Patricia) Dedla, Harry (Kathy) Franchino, Ray (Sue) Richie, Joann (Richard) Bouck, and many other relatives and friends.
A special and loving goodbye to Betty Russell, who mom enjoyed many good times with in Clinton and in Florida.
Our Mom loved to travel, which led her to places like Hawaii, Medjugorje, Yugoslavia, Portugal, France, Ireland, and every US state, except for Alaska. Now she has made her last and final trip, one she worked hard to achieve through many prayers, offerings and self-sacrifice for her family and friends. This is not a time to mourn, but to rejoice in what her Roman Catholic faith has given her. Today she will truly live on, especially in our hearts and family. “Thank you, Mom” for loving us and giving us life. You are loved.
A “loving thanks” to the nurses, doctors and CNA’s at the St. Johnsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center whose care, hugs and kisses she treasured.
Friends are invited to join Marie’s family on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 9:00AM at the Holy Family Parish Church in Little Falls where her Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Terence Healy, Pastor.
Marie’s final wishes were pre-arranged and entrusted to Harry and Kevin Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia, Funeral Directors of the Enea Family Funeral Homes.
