Nicky, I will miss you so. You are one of the first people I met when I came to work for NYCT. I'll miss our talks, going to the Greek Feast in Brooklyn for lunch and you teasing me about my shoe shopping addiction. Most of all I will miss the kind, gentle person who used to pass my desk everyday. Pauline

I was so sad to hear the news about Nick. We went to school and graduated together. He was one of the most polite guys in school. I remember him as being "quiet" but always a friendly hi to me and just a nice person. My sincere sympathy and prayers to his family. Tina

The last conversation I had with Nick was on Thrusday, December 20th. We were talking about his trip to Upstate during the holidays. He was excited and looking forward to traveling upstate to spend it with his family. I told him that he may want to consider leaving on Friday night since I had heard of a storm heading his way on Saturday. He wasn't worried much about the storm. I kept telling him to reconsider and to be careful. He said he would take my advise if he saw the weather increasingly bad. Nick and I shared many common interest. Vising our families during the winter weather and the holidays was a common conversation. We shared winter weather road experiences and they were many. Nick, as I knew him, Loved Life. He was always looking forward to the next adventure of the next time he can take the time to visit the family. He will be greatly missed as this unfortunate sudden departure comes as a unwelcomed surprise. My condolescense and kind thoughts to the family of a great big on life person. Nick, Our friendship was just getting started and whatever conversations we had by phone or over a cup of coffee was very much appreciated. You always made me laugh and you told it like it was. Dear Nicky Boy, Since I know you loved to read, I know this will get to you..... June, Matthew, my self and Nicole, your God Daughter will miss you so much..... You have been the greatest friend a person could ever have and for that I loved you so much......
