<b>Obituary</b>
<p>HERKIMER-ABERDEEN, NEW JERSEY-Mr. Nicholas M. Netti, 59, of Aberdeen, NJ, a Herkimer native, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 22, 2007 in New York Presbyterian Hospital of heart failure.
Nick was born on February 29, 1948 in Herkimer, son of Frank N. and Alessandra (Vigliotti) Netti and graduated from Herkimer High School, Class of 1966. He attended SUNY Canton for 2 years and received a bachelor?s degree and master?s degree in business administration from Wagner College in Staten Island. Nick was employed with the procurement department as a contract manager with the MTA-New York City Transit Authority. He had a strong Catholic Faith and attended Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer.
Nick enjoyed spending time with his family, working out at the gym and was an avid reader. His love for his family and friends will be deeply felt.
He leaves his parents, Frank and Alessandra Netti of Herkimer; a brother: Frank E. Netti and wife Linda of Mohawk; a sister: Katherine McDonnell and husband Kenney of Herkimer; nieces and nephews: Paul J. Netti of Mohawk, Crystal Barringer and husband Brian of New Hartford, John McDonnell and wife Jennifer of Herkimer, Heather McDonnell of Herkimer, and Sean McDonnell and wife Daniela of New Jersey; four great nieces and one great nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 3-7 p.m. Nick?s funeral will commence at 9:15 am on Friday, December 28th from the chapel of the funeral home where a prayer service will take place and at 10 am in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, S. Main St., Herkimer where his funeral mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. He will be laid to rest in the spring in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Memorial offering?s in Nick?s name can be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
