Herbie, Skippy, Irene and I spent all of our "growing up years" together. We played at each other's houses, with Herbie and Skippy raising a racket that had my Dad giving thanks that he had two daughters instead of sons. We went to the same high school, watched our Dads' playing softball on the weekends, and spent a memorable and a bit uncomfortable couple of weeks camping at Saranac Lake. He played the piano for us, and we delighted in the fact that he had some friends who were good looking guys when we were teenagers! Years of wonderful memories that will stay with us forever. I'll see you again, Herbie!
