There is not a day goes by that I don't think about Charlie. We had some of the best times together. He has always been there for me and i feel honored to have known him. I will never forget everything he has done for me and my family, the world is a much more sorrowful place without him. I loved him very much! Hope to see him again someday.

Mrs. Kotary and family, Many of us feel sadness with you in the loss of "Pinky". He and I shared many good times as friends when we were young, graduating in 1965. We also shared the same birthday. I remember Pinky as one who made us laugh and was fun to be with. He surely will be missed! Loving sympathy to you all.

Mrs.Kotay, Karen, Patrick, Jeanne and all the family; I was rading newspaper obit. section when I realized it was Charlies name of his passing. I am so sorry for this big loss. There are no words to express this moment. Thinking back how close we were...during our junior & high school years, we became such a good friends with all the Kotary's.. always at the house on German St., I felt as part of the family. Charlie "Pinky" will be missed and always be remembered. May he rest in peace. My deepest condolences.

To the Kotary Family: I am sorry to hear about the loss of Charlie. I have many fond memories of growing up in Mohawk and playing basketball with Charlie, his son Adam, and several members of the high school basketball team. Charlie and Adam would invite us over to their house in Mohawk and we would play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 pick up basketball games, and then have barbeque cook outs after. We would talk about current and past NBA players and teams. I was a big James Worthy and Los Angeles Lakers fan, and Charlie would discuss their games and results with me. He was like a father figure and coach to us. Those will always be great times. God bless! Bobby Brien

We are at camp and keep tract of events at home through the Evening Telegram web site. We are so shocked and saddened to read of Charlie's death. I cannot begin to imagine how you all feel especially your mother. May all of your happy memories of Charlie help you through this time of grief. May God grant you all peace in knowing his soul in now in Heaven. Please tell your mother I am thinking of her and will keep her in my prayers. Charlie and I were in the U.S. Army Reserves together. Charlie was a great Drill Sgt. and we had some great times together in Ft. Dix. Charlie was always up to something and kept us laughing all of the time. He will be missed. 1SG Larry Zegarelli(Ret.)
