I would of posted alot sooner but once again,This is one more aspect of MY brothers death that I was left out of.But,recently my sister-in-law told me how everyone seems to think that I was invovled allright.She was told that I orchastrated stealing from my brother after his passing.I have No words to say about that,I will not disgrace the relationship I did have with MY brother.I think eyes should really be on Eric & his family.But on behalf of The Darling Family,We would all like to thank once again to the members of the maennachoir for all they did to get my brother a stone.That will never be forgotten.And for My Little Brother Gary.D..you know I love and miss you deeply..Never will feel the same.Robbie looks and evn grows his beard the same as you..love you Lisa&Family

My heartfelt sympathies to the Darling family at this time of great sorrow. I only heard today about Gary's passing. I have many fond memories of Gary growing up. I spent alot of time at their home. It was a second home to me growing up. He was very special and will be greatly missed. I will keep him in my prayers. Love, Sue

I was truly saddened by the knowledge of Gary's passing. Gary is my cousin, and I am a few years older than he and have not been in touch with him since we were kids. Gary's Mom and Dad were blessed with Gary D, and as I read the other messages from people who really knew him, it reminded me of my Aunt Barb and Uncle Gary. How they always made people laugh whatever the situation was. It seems such a shame to loose someone so young and who obviously touched so many hearts in a positive way. On behalf of Gary?s family and close friends I would like to thank everybody who sent their condolences to our family during this difficult time. To all who attended the services, and to all that were with us in spirit, I cannot express how grateful I am for the generosity and support our family has received. I know that Gary is smiling right now, hearing the laughter and stories that have been shared the past couple of days. I would especially like to extend my personal thanks to the Enea family, who showed great professionalism while also adding a personal touch of humor that embodies what Gary was all about. I would like to acknowledge Gary?s vast extended family of friends that were a major part in his life, and were there for me personally at the time of his death. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I've known Gary for as long as I can remember. He was always laughing and just enjoying life. I remember when he got his first tattoo and he was soo excited! I miss playing darts with him and losing bets to him. He will be missed and loved for sure. I know he is looking down on us and smiling. He will always be in my thoughts.

To Gary....To one of my nicest customers when I worked at the Maennerchor...I always enjoyed your company...You were one of the first every year to sign up for the dart league, even though others tried to steal you away from our team. Sometimes you would stay with me till closing if things had been a little rowdy..."just in case". Other times you would go to the P&C just before closing and I'd give you and your groceries a ride home. When I only worked at the P&C late at night the last year I was in Little Falls you would come in and ask me what was "on sale"...and tell me all the gossip from the club...I'd check you out and get ready to leave and again give you a ride home...It was my pleasure to do so and I've never met a more polite and respectful guy than you...Say Hi to Walt for me and watch over the dart players from up there!!!!

Well what can we say Gary was Gary. We will miss you! Who will i make Meatloaf for? Whenever I make Meatloaf for me i will always think of you.Who will Ron talk to about Baseball, Football or Basketball? You guys always talked about sports when we were out. My mom told me today that Gary passed away. I don't live in Little Falls anymore so I wouldn't have known otherwise. I graduated high school with Gary and remember him as one of the kindest people in our class. He was always smiling too. Everybody liked Gary which is rare in high school. We could have all learned something from him. I wish I could be there to pay my respects. My condolences to his family.

I was a bartender at the Little Falls German Maennerchor for a couple of years where I would see Gary D just about everyday. The first thing he would always say was that I was looking as beautiful as ever; I'll always remember that. I'll miss fighting with him about the Yankees, beating him in darts, and the way he always made me laugh. While we are mourning the loss of our dear friend, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil.

I knew Gary for a short time and ALWAYS had fun with him. He was always friendly and was always fun and I dont ever recall having not had a ball hangin with him at the beer garden when it was open. I was shocked to hear of his passing. I don't live in Little Falls anymore and will not be able to attend the funeral. Tho my condolences and heart felt feelings go to Gary's family and mutual friends that Gary and I have.

A TRIBUTE TO GARY DARLING When I wrote the tribute for Walter P With a tear in your eye, you came to me. You asked me if when you passed away, Would I have anything nice to say? I told you then that from the top of my head, I did not have to wait until you were dead. I knew how you loved and missed your mom and dad. I knew how doing little things for people always made you feel glad. I told you then, that I knew you would be missed a lot. You made me promise to write you a poem, and I have not forgot. So here it is my friend, the best that I can do, You are now with your mom and dad and no longer blue? We miss you a lot, and this is especially true With certain people like Norm, Pop, Raina and the crew? Life will never be the same when we drink a brew! There was always that unwritten law... Always be sure your first brew had a straw! For all of the functions that will come and go It won?t be the same, this we will know, Not having you there, Knowing you always cared Perhaps someday we will see you anew With no smelly shoes and no pain for you Deep down we all know how you must have suffered Even though not a word was ever muttered So here you go my Darling Gary D Here is your tribute
